These terms cover the purchase and use of The Homegrown Almanac. Buying the book means you agree to them.
What you are buying
A digital book in PDF format, together with the Backyard Plans for zones 3 through 10 and four printable guides. Nothing is shipped to you. You download the files after purchase and can read them on a phone, tablet, or computer, or print them at home.
Price and payment
The price is $37 in US dollars, paid once. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Payment is processed by Hotmart, which issues your receipt and may show the price converted into your local currency.
Refunds
If the book is not for you, write to hello@thehomegrownalmanac.com within 30 days of your purchase and we will refund it in full. You do not have to explain why. Refunds are issued through Hotmart, and access to the files ends with the refund.
What you may do with the files
- Read them on your own devices, as many times as you like.
- Print them for your own use, in whole or in part.
- Show them to family and friends.
What you may not do
- Share, upload, resell, or give away the files.
- Reproduce the text, illustrations, or charts in another product, free or paid.
The book, its illustrations, and its charts are copyrighted work.
What this book is, and is not
It is general home-gardening education. Gardens depend on climate, soil, weather, seed, and care, so we make no promise about any particular harvest, savings, or result. Where the book covers food preservation or keeping poultry, it follows published guidance from the National Center for Home Food Preservation, the USDA, and the CDC, and it tells you where that guidance came from. Follow those sources and your local rules; when in doubt about food safety, throw it out.
