This page explains what happens to your information when you visit this website or buy The Homegrown Almanac. It is written in plain English, because you should not need a lawyer to understand it.
Who we are
The Homegrown Almanac is published by Tallowbrook. You can reach us at hello@thehomegrownalmanac.com.
What we collect on this site
- Nothing you type. This page has no forms, no newsletter box, and no account to create.
- Advertising measurement. If you arrived from an ad, a Meta (Facebook and Instagram) pixel may record that the page was viewed and whether a purchase followed. It does not tell us who you are by name.
- Basic technical data that every website receives, such as your browser type and approximate region, used to keep the site working.
What happens when you buy
The purchase itself is handled by Hotmart, our payment and delivery platform. You enter your name, email address, and payment details on Hotmart's checkout, not here. Hotmart processes that information under its own privacy policy and sends us only what we need to deliver your files and answer your questions. We never see or store your full card number.
If you write to hello@thehomegrownalmanac.com, we keep your message so we can answer it and check back later if the same question comes up. We do not sell or rent email addresses to anyone, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you asked a question.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. The advertising pixel described above, and Hotmart's checkout, may set their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Your choices
- You may ask what information we hold about you, and ask us to delete it.
- You may ask for a refund within 30 days of purchase, which also ends the delivery of your files.
- Write to hello@thehomegrownalmanac.com for either one. We answer by email, usually within two business days.
Children
This site and this book are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
